Frequently Asked Questions
What material is used for the pegs?
316 stainless steel - an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless and heat-resisting steel with superior corrosion resistance
Do the pegs get hot in the sun?
We have tested them out in the 42°C Perth sun, none of us burned our fingers
What material is the peg's bag?
Jute burlap. Jute comes from the stems and skin of the Jute plant (a vegetable fibre), and is then spun into coarse, strong threads
*Bag Care - If you must wash the jute bag, hand wash separately in cool water using a mild soap. The fabrics on burlap can be brittle so it must be handled gently. Do not wring or twist the wet fabric. Burlap should always be washed alone because it can shed fibers. These are difficult to remove from other fabrics, especially terry cloth or any napped fabric
What material is our postage satchel made of?
PBAT and modified corn starch
Why does the jute bag as a smell ?
Because it is made of natural vegetable fibre
